My story

Hi, I'm Lyndsay

A mum of two and the founder of Lifting with Lyndsay.

My own fitness journey began in 2021 when I joined a local group fitness class while working in an office job. At the time, I was looking for something that would improve my mental wellbeing and help me reconnect socially. What I didn't expect was the huge impact exercise would have on both my physical and mental health.

The more I experienced the benefits of exercise, the more I wanted to understand the science behind it. I left my office career behind to fully invest in my education. After two years of study, I qualified as a Personal Trainer and launched Lifting with Lyndsay. Since then, I've dedicated myself to helping women and girls improve their health, fitness, and confidence in a supportive environment where they feel comfortable, capable, and safe.

I went on to complete a BSc (Hons) in Physical Activity and Health, further developing my knowledge of exercise, behaviour change, and long-term health.

My mission

My Mission

My mission is simple: to create a welcoming, enjoyable space where females of all ages and abilities can become more physically active. Whether your goal is to build strength, improve your fitness, support your mental wellbeing, or manage a health condition, I'm here to help you develop sustainable habits that improve your quality of life now and support your health for years to come.

I believe that movement is for everyone, and that getting stronger isn't just about lifting weights, it's about building confidence, resilience, and a healthier future.

What I stand for

How I Coach

Judgement-free

No egos, no intimidation. Just women supporting each other to get stronger.

Technique first

We get the movement right before we chase the numbers. Always.

Real community

Small groups mean you train with the same faces and build genuine support.

Strength as confidence

What you build in the gym shows up everywhere else in your life.

Strong isn't a look.
It's how you feel when
you walk into a room.
